Weigh-In Wednesday Week 19

Update:
Starting Weight (1/5/2009) - 283.4
End of Week 18 (5/13/2009) - 268.8 lbs.
End of Week 19 (5/20/2009) - 260 lbs
Loss - 8.8 lbs.
Total YTD loss - 23.4 lbs.
110 lbs. to go to reach final goal weight

It was my first full week back on the wagon and it went very well.
Though I'm not officially doing Weight Watchers anymore, what can I say, I'm cheap,
I've been following the point system to a "T" this week. I journaled all of my food and stayed within my allotted points. I didn't even need any of my "extra" points.
I find the Weight Watchers plan the easiest diet plan to follow because of it's flexibility.
They don't tell you what you can and can not eat. (Because, if you're anything like me, if you tell me not to eat it, IT'S the first thing I want!)
You eat what you want, when you want as long as you stay within your points. Once you're out of points, you're done eating for the day.
You're allotted 35 "extra" points a week to use however you want. This comes in handy when I've got a sweet tooth or a party to go to. You don't have to use the "extra" points.
It's totally up to you.
See, I wasn't lying when I said it was EASY.
I still haven't gotten back into a consistent work-out routine.
If working out was as easy at following Weight Watchers, I'd be skinny already.
I'm hoping to start a work-out program June 1st.
More to come on that later...

I'll be at the river this weekend for the Memorial Day holiday.
There will be LOTS of drinking and eating involved.
Lets hope the scale doesn't totally backfire on me next week.

Wow, eight pounds in a week is AWESOME! I think I'm going to do Weight Watchers online this summer... I have not been good lately!

Congrats! Keep going! :)

So excited for you hon! That is totally awesome. Keep up the good work. I love WW. Hoping that I am down when I go to weigh in tomorrow. I am doing it because I won the 3 mo membership-if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be wearing most of my clothes right now because they would be too tight.

Good job! I'm one month in and already not losing anymore! UGH!!! I'm working my hiney off too, but no results. Maybe I need to check out WW for a month, cause that's all I can afford! lol

Good work, Greis! I'm still doing WW, but not as religiously as I was a few months ago. I leave next Friday for Florida and then my cruise. I'm thinking I'll just eat whatever on the cruise and get back on WW full time when I come home.

8 lbs. is great! Look at it this way-there is probably more opportunity for 'incidental' exercise while at the river so if you're at least watching what you eat then it shouldn't be too bad. Just go for an extra walk or 2 in the mornings and evenings!

So many of my friends and family swear by the Weight Watchers program. Seems like a rather straight forward plan from what I hear. Keep up the great work!
