I never do this, so you know it must be important.
My BFF was diagnosed with Breast Cancer when she was 30 years old. She underwent treatment and a double mastectomy and has been free of the disease for over a year, she'll be 32 in April.
She went in for a precautionary bone marrow biopsy on Wednesday and I've just found out that she's been diagnosed with Leukemia and has been admitted to the hospital.
She and her husband are both members of the US Air Force, have 2 beautiful children (my Godchildren, ages 6 & 7) and thought they were over the battle with Cancer. Her husband was to be deployed to Afghanistan tomorrow. They are working with the USAF, trying to get him back home so that he can be there for his wife.
Please, please, please say a prayer for my friend today. Pray for the return of her husband and for the strength that she will need to battle the Leukemia. She is a beautiful & strong woman, who has already conquered so much, and I know she will conquer this bump in the road as well.

I will pray for your friend! I am so sorry to hear about this. she fought the first battle and let God give her strength to fight this one!
