It's been the same answer all season, but I'm ok with it. I've pretty much come to grips with the fact that I will NOT be winning a BFL badge this year. Oh well, there's always next season, right?
It's week 16 in the National Football League. There are 2 regular season weeks left. It's the WIN or go HOME part of the season. The play-offs are right around the corner and there are still quite a few available spots.
I figured I would give props to my home town team, the Houston Texans, this week Yes, it's true, they struggled at the beginning of the season. Ok, so maybe it was a little bit longer than just the beginning, but they've turned it around. For the first time in their short 7 year existence the Texans have WON 4 games in a row. They're headed to Oakland on Sunday, will they make it 5? Their chances look pretty good! A win on Sunday would give the Texans an 8-7 record with one game to go. Could the Texans possibly finish the season 9-7? If they do it will be the first time EVER that the Texans have had a WINNING record. I hope they do it! The Texans have a good team, they just have lots of BAD luck. (need I remind you all of the home game against Indy where Indy scored 21 points in the last 4 minutes of the game to WIN, if that's not bad luck I don't know what is. LOL)
The Texans have no hope of making the play-offs. But that won't matter in the last 2 weeks of the season. The Texans, for the next 2 weeks, will continue to fight and play their hearts out. The last 2 weeks will be about winning and bringing Houston their first winning season in Texans history.
And I'll be rooting for them loud and proud.
Proud to be a TEXAN!!!
Now onto my picks for week 16. Nothing fancy, just my picks:
