I LOVE 24/7 Beach Life!!!!!

Hi, from the beach! Can I just say that I absolutely 100% LOVE 24/7 beach life!!!! I'm dreading this next week and a half flying by and having to go back to REALITY.
Vacation is awesome. Right now, it's 1:05 a.m. PR time and we're visiting with a family friend that I haven't seen in a few years. I've borrowed her computer to make this not too long update, since I can't seem to find and UNSECURED wireless connection in our condo building.
I arrived on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico on Saturday morning at 5:30. After taking a 4 hour nap we headed to the beach for some much needed beach time. It's so beautiful. My mom's 1/2 brother and sister surprised the family by coming to town for a week too. This is an Aunt (she lives in New York) I've NEVER met and an Uncle (he lives in Orlando) that I rarely see. It's been fun hanging out with them, it's their first time in Puerto Rico.
Sunday we woke up and spent the day at the beach. I will definitely have a DARK tan when I get back home!
Monday was a rainy day, but we made the most of it. We started off the day visiting the cemetery where my grandmothers grave stone is, it was the 5 year anniversary of her death. We then proceeded to run errands through town. Monday was also Dia de San Juan here in PR. It's a definite party day for the town. We went to my Uncle's apartment and spent the rest of the evening and into the early morning there. At midnight it is a tradition to jump into the ocean, backwards. It's supposed to bring GOOD LUCK. Who am I to miss an opportunity for good luck. It was the CRAZIEST thing I've done in a long time, but it was a BLAST. The beach was packed full and at midnight EVERYONE ran into the ocean. It was still rainy and the impending storm had brought BIG waves, which made playing in the ocean at midnight so much more fun.
Today, Tuesday, was a pretty lazy day. After being up so late last night we slept in until about 11:30. I then met my Aunt and my cousin, Christian, at their apartment and we played BINGO at the pool. I didn't win, but we got pretty close. (Yes, I played BINGO. The prize is $$$$ and bottles of RUM or drink tickets, who am I to pass this up?) :)
We have so much planned for the next week and a half. Including a snorkeling trip this weekend once my brother and other cousins arrive.
I'm having such a GREAT time.
I haven't really taken many pictures, but I'll have tons of great stories.
Hope everyone is well at home.
See you soon.
